Positioned below the J7, the more compact J5 brings the JAECOO marque within reach of South Africans seeking a premium SUV experience at a more accessible price point.

JAECOO is pleased to announce the imminent arrival of the J7 SHS, the powerful plug-in hybrid version of the popular J7 SUV, in the South African market. Set to launch next month, this electrified premium offering will be the second model to wear the JAECOO nameplate locally and the first of several new and electrified models to follow.

Two years after their unveiling at Auto Shanghai, OMODA & JAECOO are returning to the biennial international show with several new models, including the OMODA C5 HEV and C7 SHS and the all-electric J5 BEV. Through the marque’s new energy vehicle matrix, OMODA and JAECOO are showcasing their vision of “Born Global, Born NEV.”
